An offer is an expression of willingness to do something. A suggestion is usually an expression of an idea for someone else to do something.

• May I help you?

• Would you like a cup of coffee?

• Can I help you carrying your bag?

• May I open the window? It's hot here.

• I will help you doing your homework, if you like.

Suggestions:

• I think you must stop working for now and get some rest.

• What about a cup of hot chocolate? That'll bring us peace and happiness.

• What if you stop smoking right now?

• I have a good idea. Let's go to the cinema.

•  Son, I suggest you to talk to her directly.

Conversation:

Mika: Indah, I bought some skincare yesterday, but it doesn't look like my skin. Do you want to?
