Invitation Card

Hello, Assalamu'alaikum. Today I want to explain about Invitation Card.

-An invitation card is used to invite someone to attend an event, like birthday party, wedding ceremony, baby shower, etc.-

Dialog about an invitation:

Indah: Hi Mika, long time no see. How are you?

Mika: Hi Indah, I'm fine, how about you?

Indah: I'm fine too, where do you live now?

Mika: I live in Bandung now. But currently visiting Jakarta. What's wrong?

Indah: Ah I see, I really miss you. Luckily, we're meet again, I want to tell you something, I'm going to have my 17th birthday party. Would you come to my sweet seventeen?

Mika: Wow, yes I can. I will come. When will it be held?

Indah: 2 weeks more. Alright, I'm glad you will come. Here, the invitation card, I'll give it to you. Don't forget to confirm your presence.

Mika: Alright, I'll accept. I'm also glad to meet you. If we have some free time, let's meet again. See you later!

Indah: Thank you, Mika. See you later!

An  offer  is an expression of willingness to do something. A  suggestion  is usually an expression of an idea for someone else to do something. Offers: • May I help you? • Would you like a cup of coffee? • Can I help you carrying your bag? • May I open the window? It's hot here. • I will help you doing your homework, if you like. Suggestions: • I think you must stop working for now and get some rest. • What about a cup of hot chocolate?
